Artur Davis, former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Alabama's 7th district who Rush Limbaugh asserted had the best speech of the night spoke at the Republican National Convention on Aug. 28, 2012.
Davis--who introduced Obama in 2007 at the DNC Convention--spole to Independents, and disavowed Democrats; setting the record straight on what America is really about. Freedom.
He challenged rational minds, open to debate, to consider where the amount of irresponsible spending has left us--in debt with no way forward. And he prompted the people to knock the shiny glare from their television sets and see through the propaganda, "there is no amount of glamour big enough to lie to the people about our situation."
